Join us for a night of community building, collaboration and transformation with Ann Kay and Barbara McAfee on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. If you are looking for a fun and engaging learning experience that will leave you feeling connected, invigorated and amazed this event is a MUST attend.

The Minnesota Coaches Association (MCA) is offering an experiential evening for the community on the Transformational Power of Singing on November 18 at Carondelet Center , St. Paul , MN . Bringing you renowned teachers of voice, singing, music and rhythm, Ann Kay and Barbara McAfee will introduce voice techniques, engage attendees in easy singing activities and show how groups use sound and rhythm to work together better.

“Music intelligence” is one of eight natural “intelligences” described by Harvard researcher Howard Gardner. As people grow in our society, however, they are usually socialized into a fear of singing and lose the use of this powerful tool. This evening is designed to start reversing that loss and fear of singing. According to Patricia Drury, President of MCA, “This event will be uplifting, fun and energizing while at the same time will give people new information, new skills and renewed aliveness.”

The event is open to all but require advance registration through the MCA website, www.minnesotacoaches.org. Early Bird registration expires after November 17*, 2008!
