Shaun Jamison "Supersize Your Thinking, Listening, and Speaking by Written Reflection"
Gary Gilson "How to Improve Your Writing Overnight and Increase Your Popularity"
Many thanks to:
Tom Schmid

The Marsh - they serve lovely fruit and other yummy food
Our numerous guests and audience members
This was a first breakfast meeting in recent history. Many commented on the lovely tables covered in white linen, the fresh and tasty food, and the strength of the program.
Betty's topic of storytelling struck a chord with not only the audience, but also with our guest speaker Gary Gilson who referred back to it many times. Betty compared writing articles for the paper to speaking and emphasized the importance of the conversational tone.
Shaun compared keeping a journal to having a second brain. Shaun shared how he personally used the journal to improve his communication skills.
Gary spoke of confidence, passion, and active voice. He made a memorable comparison between this story: Church gathering was held, refreshments were serve and a good time was had by all to Jimmy Breslin's captivating telling of the story of "The Man Who Dug JFK's Grave."
Refreshments were served and a good time was had by all ;)
We next meet on January 9th at our regular time of 9:15am. Sandy will lead a meeting with the theme of "Increasing Our Popularity."
Welcome to Marshwinds Toastmasters!
