Greetings Toastmasters!
I am writing to all of you tonight in regards to the club mentoring program. Some of you may already have a mentor within our club, others may be mentors for other Marsh Winds members. As the VP of Education for our group part of my responsibility is to ensure that each member who would like a mentor has one.
As of now I do not have a listing of who is a mentor for whom. I am asking that each of you take a minute to let me know if you are either a mentor for someone in our group, or if you have a mentor within our group.
Having a mentor is a great way to get the most out of your time at Toastmasters. A mentor is someone who can answer your questions and help guide you along your learning pathway.
Being a mentor is an extremely fulfilling role. You have an important hand in helping a member develop the skills they need to succeed within Toastmasters.

I just completed my CC and have taken Interpersonal communication & Special Occasion speeches as my Advanced manuals. Ideally, you would have a mentor in your home club so that they could observe you speak. Typically, the Vice President for Education is in charge of assigning mentors.
