Green Revolution - Part II

Hello All,

We talked about the Green Revolution and how much we
are doing or not doing to combat the depletion of
oxygen and prolific additions of carbon to our planet.

Lisa Jenks taught us how to work on "Creative Problem
Solving" by showing us a wheel barrow, a memorable
prop, followed by a step by step process. Her speech
was capably evaluated by Sandy Ryan.

Larry Everett showed us how to buy Green from the Root
products. This was a highly technical presentation
simplified by a Power Point presentation also
demonstrating a clean use of colors. Crissy Roeglin
provided a useful tip to Larry Everett in standing
in avoiding standing in front of the projected image.

Crissy Roeglin followed the Toastmasters International
guidelines in executing her duties as the
Table Topics Master (a table topics master
"does not necessarily have to follow the theme".

For her double duty and a spirited Table Topics,
Crissy walked away with the Toastmaster of the Day trophy.

Shaun Jamison did an admirable job as our
General Evaluator. Betty Liedke counted our Umms and Aahs,
and as our grammarian noted memorable use of the English
language. She "revived" our meeting by announcing
"Revive" as the word of the day.

Our Area Governor and our honored guest, Kara Johnson
filled in as our Time Keeper. Esther also honored us
by being our guest.

Betty and Shaun provided donations to the Hopkins
Minnetonka Family Resource Center. Shaun's donation
was matched by his employer.

Crissy donated 26 notebooks, 100 pens, and 96 pencils
to the Hopkins Minnetonka Family Resource Center.

I sincerely thank Betty, Crissy and Shaun for their
thoughtful donations. [Ravi's High Performance
Leadership (HPL) project involves providing school

Ravi Bakshi, [:-D
