Outliers Meeting Recap

This was a unique and special meeting on a number of levels. Betty Liedtke, Distinguished Toastmaster gave an interactive 20 minute sales training speech. Toastmasters speeches are often 5-7 minutes, but some of the advanced speeches are longer. Betty's outstanding preparation and inspirational performance earned her the Toastmaster of the Day Award!

"Practice isn't the thing you do once you're good. It's the thing that makes you good." & "We overlook just how large a role we all play--and by 'we' I mean society--in determining who makes it and who doesn't."

President Dawn Anderson chaired the election of new officers and Sandy Ryan reported on behalf of the nominating committee.

Brett Thomas was inducted as a member of Marshwinds Toastmasters in a ceremony led by Leslie Smith (pictured below):
