Betty Liedtke won both the Humorous and Tall Tales contests in Area 92 while representing Marshwinds Toastmasters. She will advance to the Western Division contest to be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
Betty will be competing in Western Division against, among others, fellow Marshwindian Shaun Jamison. Shaun won the Area 93 Humorous speech contest while representing his other club, Super Valued Speakers.
Lisa Jenks won the Tall Tales contest in Area 53 while representing her other club, Tic Talkers. Lisa will compete in the Northern Division contest on October 6th.
Please attend and cheer on our competitors! The winners of the division level contests will advance to the District 6 Fall Conference in Rochester on October 24-25. Don't miss the district conference, it promises to be a special event for Marshwinds Toastmasters and friends.
