A well-deserved congratulations goes to Marshwinds member, Jennifer Swanson, as District 6 Area Governor of the Year! At today's TELI (Toastmasters Education and Leadership Institute), Immediate Past District Governor Pat Croal cited Jennifer's ability to set high expectations for her clubs and enrolling the club presidents in her vision. Jennifer helped the people in her area grow as a result.
Marshwinds Toastmasters was honored for being one of the clubs with the most members present. Marshwinds won the drawing and one Marshwinds member will attend the Fall conference for free.
Jennifer Stensrud, Immediate Past President of Marshwinds Toastmasters, accepted the purple ribbon denoting our accomplishment of 10 out of 10 Distinguished Club points. Jennifer also led the invocation with a beautiful thankfulness process complete with bells and angels.
