Just in time for Earth Day! It was confirmed with Hennepin County today (though the final paperwork is yet to be submitted) that Marsh Winds will adopt a two mile section of County Road 61 from Minnetonka Boulevard to the Ridgedale area.
Marsh Winds members, family and friends (age 13 and older) will be responsible for maintaining the beauty of this stretch of road by picking up trash two times each year. Look for signs at either end of our highway commemorating our commitment to the community!
What a great way to get outdoors, get some exercise, enjoy the camaraderie of good friends, and contribute to the betterment of our world! Join us on this wonderful new adventure!
Welcome to Marshwinds Toastmasters!

Spring Time Will Soon be Here Meeting Recap
We had a good turnout at our meeting this morning. Larry Everett served as Toastmasters with the theme of "Spring Time will soon be here". Ravi Bakshi as the grammarian selected Optimal as the Word of the Day.
Pamela Rediger was selected as Toastmaster of the Day with an excellent upbeat speech titled “The Things I Didn't Buy”. An intriguing title with a twist for the speech talking about “downsizing” from a 4-bedroom to a 2-bedroom house. Michael Kennedy gave an informational speech on the necessity of getting a sufficient daily dose of vitamin D3. The D3 is important to note that there is a difference from just vitamin D.
We had 3 guests (1 new first time guest), and at the close of the meeting, one guest joined Marsh Winds Toastmasters. Let us all welcome our newest new member, Dawn Anderson.
Regards,
Larry Everett
Theme - Ides of March
Fellow Toastmasters,
We already have three speakers lined up for next Thursday. It's going to be exciting and we have an icebreaker, so that alone would be worth coming to see. Our Theme is the Ides of March. I'll be your Toastmaster. What will your role be?
This is a vintage picture from LAST March. What image do you have in mind for THIS march?
